Only last few days left for the breakup of Sweetie and Padamesh. Sweetie’s friends decided to give them a party for this breakup. Padamesh already started realizing the mixed emotions he is having about Aadita, Sweetie, and all her friends.
The situation was not different for Sweetie and when Simran asked her about the feeling about this departure she said “Dev is the best thing ever happened to me. Somehow, he knows everything about me, my likes and dislikes, it's magical when a man knows so many things about you.”
“You are so lucky,” Simran said.
“I am sure he is getting many tips from Paddu. This surprised me as I always thought he doesn't know me at all.”
“When Dev is perfect, why you care?”
“I have few complaints about Dev.”
“What is that?”
“He is not that good in washing clothes, cleaning utensils or cooking food like Padamesh. He felt irritated while doing these things.”
“Why don’t you keep a housemaid?”
“You know maintaining them is so costly and they will come up with their own tantrums. Looks like I have to do that now.”
“I know it’s bad but you can’t always get a complete package.”
“Paddu was the complete package. I ruined everything, he was right about me,” and sobbed silently. “I will talk with him to apologize me.”

On the eve of breakup party, Sweetie asked Padamesh to meet in a cabin by saying, It’s urgent. The moment Sweetie saw him she tightly hugged him, smooched him and said, “I will miss you, Paddu” Tears started rolling out from her cheek. Padamesh is now confused and never saw that coming. He realized this kind of behavior was missed in the KT documentation for Dev.
“I thought you hate me to the core of your heart,” Padamesh said “It’s me who want to be with you for some more time so came up with this idea of three-months’ notice. Which I now realized was a stupid idea.”
“No Paddu, that was a brilliant idea.” She came closer to Padamesh again and wrapped her arms around his neck and said, “please stay, don’t go.”
Padamesh took out her arm from his neck and said “What’s going on? Why now and Why today!”
“You know, I am not good in saying goodbyes,” Sweetie said and turned around her face from Padamesh.
“I don’t believe you, you can’t have a sudden change of heart” Padamesh knows that she will not have eye contact while telling lie. “You can share things with me, technically I am still your boyfriend.”
“You are not having any cold feet?” Sweetie asked by turning back towards Padamesh.
“Cold feet? I am not getting married. We are getting break up. Cold feet happen when you join, not for disjoin” Padamesh replied.
“How you find Dev? anything odd you noticed?”
“Nothing odd in terms of being human. He is a nice guy, although was bit tensed recently.”
“Have he said anything?”
“Nothing, anything went wrong?”
Sweetie inhaled a deep breath and said it in one breath “Dev absconded and he is untraceable. Will you join me back?”
“What!!!”
The silence persists for quite some time. Sweetie took the responsibility of breaking this silence and said, “it’s always better to be with the known devil than the unknown ghost.”
“You are talking like an HR. I will think about it. I always want to be with you. My new girlfriend waited for three months. I can’t just say no to her”
“I agree with your concern, you have not fallen in love with your new girlfriend yet so I will give you the raise in love”
“What that mean? People fell in love, nobody ever raised.”
“I am ready to provide an offer better than your new girlfriend’s offer” Sweetie revealed her real intention for this meeting and continued, “The better offer in terms of love or love making, or anything of your choice.”
“I have to think about this, it’s a very big decision for me,” Padamesh said.
“Yes! Go ahead and take your time.” Sweetie said.
Padamesh started fiddling around pant pockets to hide the tension and nervousness. He realized there is a small box is in his pocket, he curiously brought that out from his pocket to find the content. Sweetie noticed something at his hand and said in ecstasy “Ohh, My God!!! Yes, Yes, and Yes” and jumped on Padamesh to hug him tightly and started kissing him.
Padamesh was wondering what just happened. He tried to have a look at what is in his hand over the shoulder of Sweetie while she is still kissing him all around. He found that it was the same box of the ring he bought and plan to propose her in that restaurant, on the night of their breakup. Coincidentally, today he was wearing the same pant and not washing them for months made him forgot about it. When he opened the box Sweetie thought he was popping up the question “Will you marry me?”.
Sweetie said in his ear with a bliss and answered the question which Padamesh never asked: “Yes, I will marry you. I love you Paddu.”
Padamesh was cursing to his luck in his mind and what he thought and what happened. He wants to say it’s an accident but what he said was “will the raise in ‘love making’ offer from your side still intact?”
“Yes!! Off course, we can do it right away till you want to stop” Sweetie said, “I will never ever get over from you.”
They jumped on the nearby table. Sweetie was smiling all around since her loss got compensated. Padamesh was smiling too and pleased with the current offer. They both knew they can live happily ever after...till the need arise.
